Haj Albadal

Hajj al badal of someone is when a qualified person perform Hajj in the stead of a deceased, a chronically disabled, or a sick person. This is intended for those who want to do charity for their relative or want to undertake the holy Hajj for someone who is not able, all under the direct supervision of an executive Shari’a committee that is present in the holy land throughout the Hajj events in order to oversee and supervise them.

Umrahon behalf of someone:

It is when someone, who have already performed Umrah themselves, undertakes Umrah in the stead of a person who is unable or wants to do Umrah as an oblation to Allah.

Ibn Abbas narrated that a woman came to prophet Mohammad (PbUH) stating that her mothervowed to Allah that she would undertake Hajj, but she passed away without doing it, and asked if she (the woman) could do it instead of her mother. The prophet (PbUH) told her that she could, just asif her mother had debts she would pay them off. Finally, he stated that we should fulfill Allah’s vows, for he is the most deserved of fulfilling.
